The Town Council works closely with the principal authority, Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council (RMBC) and is constantly improving its liaison with RMBC's many departments through training sessions and meetings, this is through a process called the Borough and Parish Councils Charter.

The Town Council will strive to continue to improve the services it and RMBC gives for the benefit of its Parishioners.
