Welcome to the Meetings Page

Your Council meets on Thursday evenings in the Community Centre on the 1st, 3rd & 4th week of every month except August.  There is a public question time (first twenty minutes only) where you are very welcome to attend and ask questions or simply follow the proceedings.

Ordinary Meeting

This is the main Council Meeting and is held on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 6.30pm.  The main business of the Council is discussed, including local planning applications, correspondence, a Police report and other business.

Finance Meeting

This meeting is held to dicuss financial matters including setting and managing budgets, committing and authorising expenditure and risk assessments.  The meeting is held on every 4th Thursday of the month at 6.30pm.

Events Meeting

At this meeting the Council discuss and organise the annual events such as Brinsworth Gala, Annual Bonfire and Fireworks display and Civic Ceremony.  The meeting is generally held on the 1st Thursday of every month at 6.00pm.

Premises Meeting

At this meeting the Council discuss anything to do with the buildings.  The meeting is held on the 1st Thursday of every month at 7.00pm.
